Invitation To Tender

We are inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Conservation Contractors

for Structural Repair Measures to this Grade II* Listed church.  Works are likely to include masonry repairs including the north-west corner of the nave, underpinning and floor repairs.  

The Client is Peggy (Margaret) Allcock and the Parochial Church Council of the Church of St Peter, Redmile. The works will be financially supported by a National Lottery Heritage Grant, together with other grants, donations and fund raising and will be carried under the direction of the Lead Professional Adviser, Nichola Wright of Smith and Roper Architects and Surveyors.

 

As part of a numerical tender offer, Contractors will be required to complete and submit a Contractor’s Questionnaire.  Tenders will be scored on a 50/50 basis, cost/quality.  Quality being a selection process, based on evidence of a proven track record and appropriate conservation experience and management capability.  

 

It is anticipated that works will commence on site Spring 2027.
